Retail First is seeking a Prepress Production Artist with hands-on experience preparing digital files for large-format printing and producing vinyl or fleet graphics.
Candidates must have both large-format digital file setup experience and previous vinyl/fleet graphics production experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare production-ready files for large-format printing, vinyl graphics, and fleet graphics.
- Create, edit, and troubleshoot artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Verify dimensions, scaling, bleeds, color modes, resolution, and production specifications.
- Prepare vector artwork and contour cut paths that meet vinyl finishing requirements.
- Identify and resolve artwork and file setup issues independently.
- Coordinate with the production team to meet job requirements and deadlines.
- Organize production files and manage multiple projects accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Experience setting up digital files for large-format printing.
- Previous vinyl/fleet graphics production experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of print production, prepress, and file preparation.
- Experience with vector artwork, scaling, bleeds, color modes, resolution, and production specifications.
- Knowledge of contour cutting, cut paths, and vinyl finishing requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
